Women Make Up Greater Share of IT Workers in China and Singapore Than in India
China and Singapore also hold significant lead in number of female IT managers
- The percentage of the IT workforce made up of women is 40% in China, 33.8% in Singapore and 25.2% in India.
- In addition, women hold 13.3% of senior level posts in IT in Singapore and 13% in China but only 8.2% in India, according to the “Gender Diversity in Asia” survey by Working Mother Media.
