Key statistics to track
Token woman?
When reviewing and evaluating other organisations’ approaches, here are a few questions to keep in mind:
- What are the stated objectives of the gender initiative?
- Are the goals explicitly driven by business imperatives?
- What is the definition of success and how and when is it measured?
- Who leads the initiative? Is it the CEO or someone who reports directly in to that level, or is it one of the senior women or the HR head?
- Is it branded as a ‘women’s’ initiative or is there a more inclusive approach that involves all managers and leaders?
