Arab Women's Leadership Forum Pushes for Integration and Advancement
Ambition, dedication and style abound at Dubai event
- The second Arab Women’s Leadership Forum, held in Dubai, gathered 600 women from across the Middle East to promote better workplace integration and the advancement of women into top corporate posts.
- Sylvia Ann Hewlett, a 20-first.com regular, attended and, wrote in Forbes Woman that she was “deeply impressed” by the dozens of conversations she had over the three-day event.
- “[T]he energy and buzz at the conference could not have been more familiar. The conversations revolved around access to mentors, plum assignments, global experience and advice on how to get it.”
- Hewlett noted that an upcoming study from her Center for Work-Life Policy had found that United Arab Emirates, for instance, “love their jobs and display enviable levels of dedication to their work, with 90% willing to go the extra mile for their companies, … [and] 92% of UAE women aspire to hold a top job.”

Obama has to throw some bones to his socialist, far left base to have any hope of re-election all we`ll hear is .I ended the Iraq war we won`t hear that we`ve just moved a small ootripn of our forces next door and left them vulnerable and in an almost impossible position. This is the same reason we`re seeing the student loan forgiveness and the reset your bloated mortgage executive orders. He knows the majority of the country is itching to run him off, his only chance is to re-run the 08 plan lie, hide, accuse, and get all the students/welfare masses to push him through. Too bad for him(hooray for the country) it won`t work again, like everything else, he`s screwed up that also-they are mad at him as well. Our largest problems are yet to begin, economically speaking the worst is yet to come, politically speaking, on the day Obama realizes there is no chance of re-election you will see the rest of the mask come off and he will openly do all in his power to bring this country down to his level. Not to worry! Congress will be doing it`s job and stepping in to put a stop to this enemy of the Constitution oh, wait, ..that would be the NEXT Congress.
