Keeping Women from Floating Away from Work
Forte Foundation Director Elissa Ellis-Sangster on the Challenges
Despite the passion she detects among aspiring female executives, the director of Forte, which seeks to train and motivate women in business careers, told the WSJ column Women Journal that women are all too often inadequately challenged by their companies, and that is why so many of them exit to raise families or start their own businesses. Unless there is a major cultural shift, she doesn’t expect the situation to improve soon.
