Half of U.K. Working Women Lack Insurance
Skimping on Life, Critical Illness or Income Protection
While more than half of working women in Britain have some sort of significant financial obligation, like a mortgage, 46 per cent have no insurance protection, and an even half lack adequate coverage. This, even as women are responsible for 30 per cent of business start-ups in the U.K. In fact, only 18 per cent of working women say they could cope with loss of employment, and no wonder. The results come from the insurance giant AXA, but are other firms going to join the rush to fill the void?
