A Milestone in U.K. IT -- But Turnover Rate Is a Worry
Female IT team leaders are younger than their male counterparts — and for the first time ever, they make more money! In the U.K., female IT managers make the fourth-most of all sectors, even as the average salary fell 1,446 pounds in the past year. Women hold 14.4 per cent of board seats, three times more than 10 years ago. But turnover is high, at 9.5 percent vs 6.5 per cent for men, as demotivation remains a big problem.
