Guess what? Men don't clean
You knew it, but Eurostat has crunched the numbers and offers the proof: European men spend a lot fewer hours on housecleaning than do women. Even in Sweden, men clean only two-thirds as much as women, while Spanish men do 77 percent less than women. Of course, they work more, putting in more than twice as many hours on the job in Italy, but they also have more free time than women.
