Why Women Mean Business
Winner of a prestigious book prize
The recently published business book, Why Women Mean Business: Understanding the Emergence of Our Next Economic Revolution by Avivah Wittenberg-Cox and Alison Maitland (Wiley, 2008) has picked up one of the prestigious “Prix du Livre Qualité & Performance” prizes awarded by a group of leading French companies (ACCOR, Air France, EDF, etc).
The award was one of five books selected in 2008 across a number of themes by a combined panel of business people and academics. The prize aims to recognise books that contribute in a sustainable way to enhancing corporate performance. The prize was awarded at a ceremony held at the L’Espace Fondation EDF in Paris on November 25, 2008.
