- Areas were women were held in lowest esteem included the relatively liberal areas of Kolkata and New Delhi, with 84% of Kolkatans saying that women are not good at business planning.
- By contrast, the cities of Pune and Ahmedabad reported relatively progressive views about female managers. In Ahmedabad, nearly 40% of respondents supported having a female boss.
