One could spend one’s life at women’s conferences. I will.
One could spend one’s life at women’s conferences. I will.
But it is surely high time to bring this issue into the mainstream Management and Leadership Conferences, where it belongs. This is starting, as my own speaking invitations suggest a growing interest from the gentlemen on the other side of the gender divide. Last year’s World Economic Forum organised a special CEO breakfast in Davos, with 50 male and female participants. I’ll be organising, with Bain & Company and Les Echos, another Men’s Corner at the Women’s Forum next month. Hopefully, these will serve as models for more such dialogue to come.
Because, to quote my favourite line from my book WHY WOMEN MEAN BUSINESS, “women may hold the keys to better gender balance, but men still control the locks.”
In between the conferences, this site aims to provide a one-stop shop for all things gender-related. An easy to use toolkit and information source for companies, managers and women interested in rebalancing the gender mix in business…
It’s time.
