Gender tips from Norway ... and Morocco
The requirement that 40 percent of directors in Norway be women is showing success not just in broadening boardrooms but also in expanding the economy. Likewise such aids to female entrepreneurs as the U.S. program for women at the Small Business Administration. But look too at Morocco, where there are no legal roadblocks for women to start businesses and where a nondiscriminatory legal code has been in effect for three years.
